Rain in combination with fallen leaves and branches cause a strong humid smell that may affect guests with respiratory problems.* Located in the city border and inland on the "CHINCHORREO ROUTE" providing every environment our island has to offer. Facilities include fenced swimming pool, dry bar, pool table, play area, TV, Wifi, full kitchen, 4 bedrooms, 2 baths, Mountain View, nearby rivers, shopping center. I live the upper level (main floor) of the rental so I will be available most of the time.

Summary: The view was absolutely beautiful. The property had so much Potential. It did need Updating. When something went wrong, they did come down right away. Yes there were bugs But You are Practically Staying in the woods so of course there will be bugs. While we were there The whole island lost electricity. But since our place was on solar, we didn't have too much Of an issue. We did not like that the forth bedroom was separate from the house, but we made due.

Summary: I'll start by saying that depending on what you're looking for and how you adjust to things will determine how you feel about this place. The property is not new so if you're looking for a contemporary "shiny" and "fancy" vacation home, this isn't for you. There is a smell but I believe Jose gives fair warning in the property summary. The property is located in the mountains and there is moisture in the air so it's probably hard to permanently kill the smell. We purchased some Lysol and lit incense and candles as we enjoyed the amenities. That worked for us. Anything we didn't use we left for the next family hoping it will help them have a more enjoyable stay. There was a ball missing at the pool table but we still had fun playing on the pool table and swimming in the pool while listening to music we hooked up to the big speaker outside that was provided and eating pizza from the pizza truck up the road. The property is located about 40 minutes from Old San Juan. We enjoyed driving around and then coming back to the calm and relaxing place. The little frogs (I think they're called coqui) coming out of the drain of the bathroom by the entertainment area scared some family members but that's nature! Lol. The purpose of our trip was to visit Puerto Rico for the first time as a family to celebrate life and that we did. In summary, if you're looking for a low key place that is away from the hustle and bustle that has a scenic view, you should have a good time here. :)

Summary: We had a relaxing stay and enjoyed breakfast on the shaded patio. There are food trucks and a bar in walking distance and the host was very communicative. The home is well lived, but the AC in the 3 rooms worked well and we slept comfortably.

Summary: We had a wonderful time and would happily return. Host Jose and family went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. We wanted to be away from touristy areas and stay in a local neighborhood and we loved it. Kids loved the pool, extra room, pool, hammock and other activities in yard.

Summary: The host was very nice and accommodating. The apartment was clean and cozy. They provided all of the amenities to have a pleasurable stay. It was nice to take a dip in the pool and relax after exploring the island. Jose also was able to recommend different places take at that we’re amazing. Would highly recommend.

Summary: This place wasn't exactly what we expected, but we enjoyed our stay overall. Located in a suburban city, you're further away from tourist attractions, but this is why we chose it. We wanted a place with mountain views and a pool to relax the last few days before we caught a flight out. This place has stunning views, a nice pool, and a fun outdoor space to relax. The house is really unique with plenty of space for a larger group. The host couple is incredibly kind, welcoming and quick to respond. We enjoyed the walk to a lovely breakfast and coffee spot each morning and the location to a number of incredible restaurants on the Ruta Gastronómica, food highway. The one complaint I had was that the place has quite a distinct musty smell, likely due to the moisture and humidity in the air. For someone who is quite sensitive to mildew, it was more difficult to sleep here and be inside with windows closed. We enjoyed our stay overall with gracious hosts and a glimpse into the more authentic areas of Puerto Rico.

Summary: This location was the perfect place for our family get-together! We had 3 families totaling 9 people. The pool, patio areas, and the views were definite highlights of our trip. Jose was very responsive and gave us great suggestions for places to visit. The only downside was that it would be nice to have an air conditioned common space to hang out as a group away from the heat at times but regardless it was still a great stay and we’d love to visit again. Thanks Jose for letting us stay at your beautiful home!
